Former PC center MacKinnon gets one-year deal with P-Bruins

Former Providence College center Kyle MacKinnon has agreed to a one-year American Hockey League contract with the Providence Bruins.

MacKinnon played five games with the P-Bruins in late March and early April, after the PC season ended, scoring a goal and two assists for three points.

The 23-year-old MacKinnon graduated from PC in May with a history degree. The six-foot, 195-pounder scored 14 goals and 9 assists for 23 points in 34 games last season.
