Banged-up Canucks are sour over Boychuk's hit on Raymond

The Vancouver Canucks want the NHL to take a look at the Johnny Boychuk hit that knocked Mason Raymond out of Game Six in the first minute on Monday night.

But TSN's Darren Dreger reports that he was told by the league that it was not a malicious hit.

Meanwhile, defensemen Alex Edler and Andrew Alberts were banged up on Monday night, too.

With the suspension of Aaron Rome, the Canucks are short on D-men. Keith Ballard might be their next option, but he was brutal in Game Four and was yanked from the lineup in favor of Chris Tanev.
