The Providence Bruins will be without Yannick Riendeau and Levi Nelson this weekend.

Nelson was injured on Sunday against Hartford. Riendeau was hurt on Friday night against Adirondack. He played on Saturday night, but sat out on Sunday.

Both have upper-body injuries and the team is awaiting the results of MRIs, according to coach Rob Murray.

Riendeau's injury is not related to the shoulder surgery that kept him out until a few weeks ago, Murray said. And Nelson's injury is not related to the collarbone surgery that kept him out of the lineup for four months.

To fill in, John Lammers of the Alaska Aces of the ECHL will join the team on a tryout contract. Lammers, a former teammates of Zach Hamill with Everett of the WHL, has a 20-15-35 line in 25 games. He is a 5'10'', 185-pound left wing.
