Arniel signs tryout contract with Providence Bruins

The Providence Bruins have signed center Jamie Arniel to an amateur tryout agreement. Arniel, 19, recently finished his fourth season in the Ontario Hockey League. He had his best season offensively with 32 goals and 36 assists for 68 points in 63 games for the Sarnia Sting. Arniel was selected by the Boston Bruins in the fourth round, 97th overall, in the 2008 NHL draft. In four seasons between Sarnia and the Guelph Storm, Arniel collected 196 points (101g, 95a) in 252 regular-season games, plus 13 points (7g, 6a) in 33 playoff contests.
