Left wing Ned Lukacevic was recalled from Reading of the East Coast Hockey League today and reassigned to the Providence Bruins. Lukacevic played five scoreless games in Providence before being sent to Reading, where he has four goals and three assists in 17 games. He was acquired from Philadelphia on Oct. 13 for Andrew Alberts.

The P-Bruins now have 15 forwards on their roster. With Boston's Marco Sturm suffering from whiplash symptoms, there has been speculation that Vladimir Sobotka would be recalled from Providence. However, Sobotka participated in today's morning skate at the Dunkin Donuts Center, and is expected to be in the lineup tonight against Lowell. Boston's next game is Saturday night in Florida.
