The Boston Bruins recalled Vladimir Sobotka from Providence late Monday night after Stephane Yelle was injured during the second period of the win over Tampa Bay. Coach Claude Julien said Yelle suffered an upper-body injury in the second period in a collision with linesman Mark Shewchyk. Sobotka, 21, has been Providence most consistent player lately, according to coach Rob Murray. He has 10 goals and 11 assists in 17 games. |
